Faculty/Staff Permits

All faculty, staff, and tenant vehicles parked on campus must bear a valid Utah Tech University parking permit.

FAQs

Faculty/Staff (non-Student): Two (2) vehicles registered to the same owner may be registered to the permit; one primary and one secondary vehicle, and only one vehicle may be parked on campus at any given time. The same vehicle may not be assigned to more than one permit at a time.

To request a temporary pass for a loaner vehicle (e.g. primary vehicle in the shop, disabled, etc.) please contact our office for approval at ParkingOffice@utahtech.edu with rationale and vehicle information (license plate number and state, make, model, color).

To change your permit registration to a new vehicle (e.g. new purchase), log into your account in the UT Parking Portal. If you do not have your new plates yet, put the temporary registration tag number and state in for now, then update your account again when new plates arrive and are attached to the vehicle.

Note: Sharing of the permit is not allowed and each student and employee must have their own permit purchased on their account.

Parking Permit Disclaimer

UT is not responsible for loss of or damage to the vehicle or its contents.

A permit serves as a permission to park and is not a guarantee of a parking space.

A permit is for the exclusive use only to the person it was issued to and may not be shared with, sold or transferred to anyone else.

It is the responsibility of each UT student and employee to read, understand, and abide by any published regulations by Parking Services as well as keep parking permit vehicle registration up-to-date.

Routing Around Campus

The Parking Map is a great resource for parking by permit type, as well as getting around campus. Keep in mind, however, the map serves only as a guide as campus is rapidly growing. Be on the lookout for any signage or stall changes in the areas you park.
